That Covid19 has impacted life in a way that we have never experienced is not news. We at Moringa Home Care Services, a not-for-profit provider of Home Care Services for the Aged and Disabled, have seen the lives of seniors and those with disability impacted negatively and are moved to do the little we can about this.

While the government is doing what it can in providing some palliative measures, we know that this does not meet everyone’s need in equal measure. Unfortunately, prior to Covid19, there already exists a backlog of more than 100,000 applicants who have been adjudged qualified for Home Care Packages but have been waiting in queue for one to be allocated, yet these are not still forthcoming. Some of the applicants, based on their specific conditions, need these services now and waiting till the government can make the package available is not practicable. These needs are urgent and are not deferrable to a time in the future.

As part of our social responsibility at MorinGa©, we are moved by our passion for caring to make our own little contribution to society. From now till end of August 2020, we are throwing open limited spaces for those with a need for home care services, but cannot afford it, to provide care services for free. Also, people who already have a regular carer but are in need of respite care will also be considered. As you will expect, conditions do apply as the allocation of care space will be subject to evaluation by our care team and the specific needs of each person. For those that may be interested, our care team can be contacted on the email address below or any of the phone numbers listed as well.

Please share this message with those in need and help to restore smiles to some faces out there, in this period that the world is hurting. For those that are in need of more information about us, they are encouraged to visit www.mymoringa.com.au

Sincerely yours,

The MorinGa Care Team
