We know that any serious illness brings stress not only to the patient but also the family. Our palliative services are designed to support not only the patients, but also their friends and families. In doing this, we integrate into our care giving your needs for psychological and spiritual support as may be dictated by you and assist the patient to live as actively as possible.
Our primary goal is to provide supportive care and improve the patient’s quality of life by addressing any painful or distressing symptoms that may be associated with the illness under management.
Our high quality palliative care is provided in homes which supports the patient to continue to be with familiar company and environment without the standard of care being compromised.
Our Care givers work with resources available from End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) service to help older Australians receive high-quality end of life care in familiar surroundings with little or no need for hospitalisation.
